The project proposed is the direct result of a meeting that took place in Chicago and Santa Barbara between the artists: Taeyoon Choi, Cheon Pyo Lee, and Tellef Tellefson. For two weeks in March, a large loft was rented and became the daily meeting place for MTIS. The planning for ISEA revolved around the idea of a shipping container being reused as a gallery or home. Additionally, Movable Types and Instant Spaces was conerned with constructing architecture from lightweight materials. The container culture project is result of these discussions and material studies conducted at the Chicago Session loft.
